Election Commission Suspend IAS #Mohd Mohsin For Searching #PM Modi’s Chopperr in Mysterious Box Offloaded case

The Election Commission has reportedly suspended the Sambalpur General Observer, Mohammad Mohsin, after he searched Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s helicopter.

The Hindu reported that the inspection was done in Sambalpur, Odisha. The PM had addressed a rally in Sambalpur on April 16.
Per the order dated April 16, shared by a journalist on Twitter, the EC has cited acting “contrary to the instruction of the Commission concerning SPG protectees” as the reason behind Mohsin’s suspension.

The Election Commission has suspended an officer for checking the PM’s helicopter at Sambalpur. And we still have no answers to what was in the black trunk that was unloaded from the PM’s helicopter in Karnataka and transported in a private vehicle.

Election Commission of India suspends Mohammed Mohsin, IAS KN (1996), General Observer for Sambalpur, for acting contrary to EC instructions on SPG protectees. Yesterday, PM Modi had addressed a political rally in Sambalpur #Odisha

On April 8 in Chitradurga, Karnataka, a suspicious box was seen being offloaded from the PM’s helicopter. The big box was loaded on a private car that was not part of the PM’s convoy.

The Congress party had raised an objection to the EC and had asked for the contents of the box to be inquired into.
After a few days of silence, the Bharatiya Janata Party had admitted that the black box was offloaded from the PM’s helicopter. KS Naveen, President of the Chitradurga unit of the BJP, had told Deccan Herald that the box contained a teleprompter and other electronic equipment. However, since that still does not explain why the box was not carried to the rally ground with the PM’s convoy, Naveen added that it was because the ‘equipment’ had to reach the venue urgently and would have gotten delayed if it travelled as part of the convoy.
Many have questioned why, like all other political leaders, Prime Minister Modi’s luggage during rallies is not examined by the EC.

Mysterious Box Offloaded From Modi’s Chopper, Rushed Away in Pvt Car

A video has surfaced online featuring a suspicious box with unknown contents offloaded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s helicopter and being hurriedly loaded into a waiting Innova car at Chitradurga in Karnataka.
The PM was campaigning in Chitradurga on April 8.
Indian Youth Congress campaign in-charge Srivatsa posted the video on a twitter thread and asked why the box was not part of the security protocol and why the waiting Innova was not part of the PM’s convoy.
The KPCC president’s official twitter handle also shared the video and demanded that the Election Commission initiate an inquiry into the contents of the box.

The box which was as big as a chest can be seen being carried by two men at a prance while three men at the back and one in front guide the box bearers.
The movement of the men suggests some form of urgency as if the box needs to be transported quickly or needs to be hidden and out of the public eye as fast as possible. After the box was loaded, the Innova sped away.
