Israel and UAE reach deal to normalise relations
On Thursday, President Trump announced that Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached a peace deal that will lead to a “full normalization” of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The deal, brokered by the US, is being welcomed by Israeli officials but is receiving backlash from Palestinian leaders.

Israel got rewarded for not declaring openly what it’s been doing to Palestine illegally & persistently since the beginning of the occupation. The UAE has come out in the open on its secret dealings/normalization with Israel. Please don’t do us a favor. We are nobody’s fig leaf!

BREAKING: #UAE and #Israel “normalize” relations.

The trade? Israel won’t formally annex and exercise sovereignty over the land it has for all intents and purposes already annexed and exercises sovereignty over… ZERO for the rights of Palestinians

May you never experience the agony of having your country stolen; may you never feel the pain of living in captivity under occupation; may you never witness the demolition of your home or murder of your loved ones. May you never be sold out by your “friends.”

During a call with President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, an agreement was reached to stop further Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories. The UAE and Israel also agreed to cooperation and setting a roadmap towards establishing a bilateral relationship.

We won’t be fooled by another Trump/Netanyahu deal.

We won’t celebrate Netanyahu for not stealing land he already controls in exchange for a sweetheart business deal.

The heart of the issue has never been planned, formal annexation, but ongoing, devastating apartheid.

Boris Johnson

The UAE and Israel’s decision to normalise relations is hugely good news. It was my profound hope that annexation did not go ahead in the West Bank and today’s agreement to suspend those plans is a welcome step on the road to a more peaceful Middle East.

Live update: Palestinian official slams UAE for ‘rewarding’ Israel

Sarah Abdallah
@sahouraxo

The Israeli and UAE regimes have had secret relations for decades.

Israel and the UAE have been working hand-in-glove in destroying Yemen and destabilizing Iran.

Like all other deals before it, this “peace” agreement will not put a stop to Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestine

هادي نصرالله
@HadiNasrallah

The UAE has been Israel’s friend for years

The UAE was never in the “Free Palestine” camp

Trump just made them sign some papers to boost his election campaign

Trump’s “GREAT” genocidal friends are butchering Palestinians and Yemenis daily with US military and political support

Fidato
@tequieremos

The leaders of UAE are descendants of those Arabs who conspired with the British in defeating Ottomans in WW1 which lead to British occupation of Palestine. Jews who held 3% of the land in 1933 captured 80% of Palestine after carrying out ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in 1948.
